Other Information The nursery offers a large bright playroom along with quiet areas for children to use for reading, resting and quieter activities. There are separate toilets off of the main room which encourages independence along with changing facilities. We manage free flow play allowing the children to make choices though the use of a secure grassed garden. Here there is an additional learning space which the staff and children use for small group activities such as board games or reading. Our team consists of 5 experienced and dedicated members who are qualified in childcare, NVQ's level 4 and 3 and First Aid along with the organisations Early Years Professional Quality Assurance Coordinator who works alongside the managers of the childcare setting in delivering quality childcare. Jack Jill's childcare is run by The Royal Naval Pre-School Learning Organisation, we provide care and emotional support for all children. We recognise the Emotional Cycle of Deployment that both civilian and service families can experience when a loved one goes away. We reflect this emotional need in our policies and practices and will go the extra mile to offer emotional support to all children and their families and operate an open door policy for our parents.
