Compton Pre-school was established in September 1997 and operates in a purpose-built classroom in the grounds of Compton C of E Primary School. The pre-school is registered to care for 26 children from the term they are 3 until school age.
15 hours of early years funding is available to all children from the term after they reach their third birthday or those who are eligible for the working entitlement funding for 2 year olds and we have also adopted the 30-hour funding scheme for eligible families.
As part of our aim to establish links in the community we have strong links with Compton C of E primary school and have continued our relationship with Greenacres Residential Home since 2018. We enjoy outings to our planter at Collings Park which was kindly donated by the Collings Park Trust as well as exploring other local areas.
Compton Pre-school follows the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum. In May 2025 we received a 'GOOD' ofsted rating.
