Service Notes Victoria Road Nursery is a warm, nurturing and high-quality early years provision where children aged two to four thrive. We believe that children learn best when they are happy, secure and engaged, so we work hard to create a welcoming environment filled with joy, curiosity and purposeful play. Our skilled and caring practitioners understand the importance of early childhood experiences and provide a rich blend of pastoral and educational support. They carefully design learning opportunities that inspire exploration, develop confidence and build strong foundations across all areas of the Early Years curriculum. We place a strong emphasis on oracy, supporting children to develop their language, communication and early conversation skills through meaningful interactions, stories, songs and play-based learning. Our environment is thoughtfully organised to spark imagination, encourage independence and offer a wide range of play experiences that promote social, emotional and cognitive development. Safety and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. Children feel valued and secure, enabling them to form positive relationships, take safe risks and develop resilience. We work closely with families, building strong and positive links with parents to ensure every child’s needs are understood and supported. Every aspect of our provision is designed to help children become confident, capable learners who are fully prepared for a smooth and successful transition into Reception. Through high expectations, nurturing relationships and engaging experiences, we give children the very best start to their school journey.
