Other Information Plaistow Hill is a happy, safe and caring environment at the heart of our local community, where everyone is welcome. We work together to build strong foundations for every child's future steps in life. We nurture and foster a love of learning that will hopefully last their whole life through. As staff we recognise that we cannot teach effectively without your involvement and support. You are your child's first teachers and we want to work closely with you to give your child the best education possible. In partnership with you we aim to encourage each child to reach their full potential in all areas of the curriculum through good quality teaching, the provision of an interesting, challenging and stimulating environment and the expectation of high standards of behaviour. Our session times are: 8.30-11.30 or 12-3 for which the cost is £15 per session. We also offer all day provision running from 8.30 to 2.30 for £30 with the ability to stay until 3pm (end of school day) for an additional cost of £2.50 per day. Children who are attending for a whole day session can either bring a packed lunch or a hot meal can be provided from the kitchen for £1.40 per day. Nursery children are also eligible to attend for wraparound care for which the costs are: £2.50 for breakfast club (7.30-8.30) and £4.50 for after school club from 3 - 4.15 or £7 from 3 - 5.15pm. We expect parents to provide nappies and suntan lotion if required. Any additional trips and/or visitors into school may be chargeable.
