Other Information Joining Pre-school is an exciting moment in a child’s life, preparing them for the journey onto school. Our Pre-school room is set up with a variety of learning areas and resources enabling children to access the whole early years curriculum. For example we have a role play area to enhance children’s imaginative play. There is lots of creative media set up for the children to select that allows them to develop independence and provides opportunity for their own creative ideas to flourish. We also offer lots of mark making and fine motor experiences which are important to assist writing as they reach school age. You will be informed if there is to be a fee increase.

The pre-school is open during school term times. The session times are 9.00am – 11.30am, 11.30am – 12.30pm and 12.30pm – 3.00pm. All children aged 3 and 4 are entitled for 15 funded hours of childcare per week, for 12 weeks per term. Sessions cannot be exchanged, but you may book additional sessions if there are vacancies, there will be a charge for additional sessions. If you are eligible for 30 hour funding we will need your eligibility code prior to your child starting. Non funded sessions will be billed monthly in advance. Please give four weeks’ notice if you wish to cancel any sessions, or pay fees in lieu. Children will not be accepted to any ‘paid’ session unless the fees have been paid. You will be informed if there is to be a fee increase.
