We plan for children as individuals and ensure that each child's next steps in development are planned for them to reach their full potential. Pixieland offer holiday clubs for school aged children which provides valuable backup outside of term time. The skilled team of friendly childcare providers know how to plan learning journeys that bring out the potential in every single child, drawing on their strengths to ensure that each developmental step is met. Facilities - Our preschool room provides various learning experiences that motivate and teach the children for their future. We focus on numeracy, knowledge and understanding of the work, history, music, movement and literacy. Our creative space where children can explore and engage in activities through the use of materials and resources that include glueing, paint, water, sand, rice, cornflour, and gloop to name but a few. Our sensory room consists of bubble tubes, fibre optic lights, light projectors and interactive sound machines. Pixieland's role play area provides the children with a calm area, allowing them to develop their preferences and forms of expression as they mimic everyday life using equipment that they use at home and are familiar with. Our outdoor space and garden are safe and secure with a variety of different areas to play in. The garden supports gross motor activities with bikes and scooters. The children also have an area to play with flowers as well as their own fruit and vegetables. We have a purpose-built soft play area with slide and soft play.

We offer funded only sessions of 9-4.30 this comes with the option to pay £4 for am snack and a 2-course lunch, if you would prefer not to pay for meals you are welcome to provide a packed lunch instead. This must be in a cool bag style lunch bag to ensure that the food is kept at the right temperature for your child until meals times. We do ask for parents to follow a healthy eating guideline for your child's packed lunch and do have an allergy list of foods we ask you not to bring in, please speak to the nursery manager when making an enquiry about this as the allergies can change depending on the children's allergies in attendance. They can update you on guidelines and policies in place. Along with the funded only 9-4.30 session we do offer wrap around care at an additional price. If you are needing all year-round care, please look at our all-year-round prices as this would be more beneficial to you
