Other Information Jack & Jill's Childcare Plympton is one of the five childcare sites around the city of Plymouth run by the charity The Royal Naval Pre-school Learning Organisation. Jack & Jill's Plympton is open 50 weeks a year. The setting runs a before and after school provision and collects from two local schools, Chaddlewood Primary and Glen Park School. The setting runs holiday provision outside of term time. The setting is registered for children aged from birth - to under eight years. Jack & Jill's Plympton has 1 large bright open play room, separated into two areas for the different age groups, with separate toilets leading off the play room. We rent 2 rooms in the community centre next door for our 9 babies The unit has a secure garden for the children and babies to have use of and outside play is managed within the setting to allow children to have access to the garden area throughout the day and take their learning outside making choices for themselves. The staff team consists of 8 dedicated staff members. The manager is qualified to Early Years Professional Status, we have 5 members of staff qualified to level 3, I level 2 and one apprentice working towards level 2 in childcare. Early years 3&4 year old funding, working family entitlement funding and Me2 funded spaces available.
