Other Information Our Plymouth day nursery is an Outstanding childcare setting for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers to make their first discoveries. We understand children's needs and know how best to support them as they make their first steps through their early years education . Inside the nursery there are five age-specific rooms which are all large, well maintained and resourced. Children have access to the spacious garden from their base rooms and we encourage everyone to develop a love of playing outdoors, whether it is racing around on the grass, climbing on the apparatus or all-weather play in our undercover area. Making sure every child in our care is happy and healthy is our priority. We prepare fresh and healthy meals onsite in purpose-built kitchens. At all times children's care and learning is supported by a confident and capable staff team, who participate in regular professional development to ensure the highest standards of care.

What is Offered

Funded places are available for up to 24 hours a week to qualifying families for 47.5 weeks of the year completely free of charge including all meals, snacks and drinks across our afternoon sessions. These can be taken Monday to Friday in any combination of 4 and 5 hour sessions up to the child’s maximum entitlement (start time for all is 1pm). Between the period 1st April – 31st August 2025, families qualifying for 12 funded hours a week can likewise take these as 4 or 5 hour afternoon sessions up to the child’s maximum entitlement (start time for all is 1pm). Families on a term-time only booking profile can take their fully-free sessions as follows: • 15 hours per week: three 5 hour afternoon sessions per week • 30 hours per week: any combination of 5 and 10 hour sessions, however the 5 hour sessions must be in the afternoon Other [non-funded] sessions can be purchased without restriction as per the schedule on our price list and combined with funded sessions. If space is available, parents / carers can choose to opt out of our fully-free sessions, offer to pay a flexibility contribution of £2.50 per hour and request to likewise use their funded hours for any of these sessions. These can also be used in combination with non-funded (ie paid for) sessions but please note that these sessions would not form part of our statutory offer (as detailed above) so cannot be combined or interchanged with any fully-free sessions. All sessions include meals, snacks, weaning food and drinks but exclude baby milk, nappies, wet wipes and creams which must be supplied by the parent / carer. Meals, weaning food, snacks and drinks (other than baby milk) are provided without any additional charges.
