Other Information Stuart Road Primary Academy is situated in the Stoke area of the city of Plymouth, housed in a wonderful Victorian building. Though an inner city school, Stuart Road Primary is proud of its village school feel with all staff and pupils knowing each other well, forging positive relationships based on mutual respect. Stuart Road Primary's Nursery setting provides a stimulating and inviting learning experience based on a learning through play approach. Children enjoy four large rooms for inside provision with a creation station, small world play, maths and writing areas as well as home corner and sand. Your child's learning is enhanced further with an inspiring, self-contained outdoor learning space with tunnels, large constructions, water tray, mud kitchen and more! Adults interact consistently with pupils to engage learning, develop curiosity and problem solve. Interaction with the Early Years setting through free flow opportunities, ensure a smooth transition from one setting to the other and is seen as a strength the school can offer.

From September 2026 Morning session - 8.40am to 11.40am (3 hours funded or £20.00 additional charge). Afternoon session - 12.15pm to 3.15pm (3 hours funded or £20.00 additional charge). Lunch session - 30 minutes funded hours or £3.00 additional charge.
