Other Information Pomphlett Primary Preschool boasts a safe, attractive learning environment and modern resources with the aim of being top of its class. Our aim is to provide a rich, stimulating and high quality preschool for 3-4 year old children. We believe in affordability and therefore do not charge for any consumables and lunches are optional. Based in its own on-site building, the preschool is closely linked to the main school and benefits from all school facilities, as well as our proven, high-quality educational provision. Preschool staff are employed and led by the school and work according to the school’s high standards and expectations, as well as its strong values and warm and welcoming family-centred ethos. The preschool is situated within the Pomphlett Primary School site in its own building, being part of the school whilst remaining separate from the ‘busyness’ of the main school itself. There is a large, main, preschool room, with creative, open-ended activities to stimulate creativity, interest and inquiry, as well as other separate rooms used for snack and other activities. The preschool also has its own, secure, outdoor areas, allowing the children to take part in physical activities, building on their large motor skills and love of outdoor learning. The preschool also has access to all the main school’s facilities including: the pirate ship, school hall, the outdoor learning area as well as the playground and playing field.
