Our provision includes visits to a local residential home, library trips, community litter-picking initiatives, local walks, and road safety activities, alongside opportunities for children to actively contribute to their local community. We take pride in fostering positive relationships with our neighbours and local businesses, regularly encouraging children to participate in acts of kindness, such as sharing flowers and cards with messages of positivity. Children also benefit from a range of engaging enrichment activities, including participation in our Big Brush Club daily tooth-brushing scheme, baking experiences, themed events and celebrations, and visits from external providers such as Zoo Lab. To further support learning at home, we offer home learning packs and access to our learning library. These experiences play a vital role in supporting children’s holistic development. They help to build confidence and independence, strengthen social and communication skills, promote hands-on, experiential learning, and foster a strong sense of belonging within the community.
